Mobile phone operators in various countries lock phones on their particular network and thus create a massive hassle for users to get them unlocked to use on other networks or in other countries. With this software, users can not only repair their phones but also remove SIM restrictions (network lock and country lock) on their Nokia, Samsung, Siemens, Maxon, NEC, Sony Ericsson, Panasonic, Vitel, AEG, and Alcatel phones. You need to have your IMEI number on hand (obtained by pressing *#06# on the keypad). The user will also need to know what operator the phone is locked on before proceeding.
To unlock your mobile phone, you'll need the following information:
- Your mobile phone number
- The network (and country) to which the phone is locked
- The manufacturer and model number
- The phone's IMEI number. This is a 15 digit serial number, which you can find by typing *#06# on your phone's keypad.
